Silver Stacking Ring Workshops

Join Mel from Silverlicious Jewellery to delve into silversmithing and learn to create your own rings. This workshop is designed to give a good introduction to basic silversmithing techniques. You will make a practice ring in copper before moving onto producing one or two rings in silver (time allowing), with the opportunity to add textures or decorative elements using a hammer or other techniques.

Ideal for a beginner seeking to explore a new craft, this silver jewellery making workshop promises to be an inspiring journey of fun, creativity and craftsmanship. The class will run for up-to 2 hours.

  • Refreshments provided
  • You’ll learn the basics of jewellery making techniques such as annealing, shaping, saw piercing, filing, soldering and polishing. With all tools and sterling silver provided.
  • Completely beginner-friendly, all abilities welcome. Please note that a good level of dexterity and eyesight is required.
  • Please bring reading/magnifying glasses if you require them for close-up detail, and an apron. For safety reasons please wear closed toed shoes, avoid loose clothing such as scarves and have long hair tied back.
